Blog 30 day Challenge Day 6

Today's blog prompt is 5 ways to win my heart. I feel like I am a super easy person to get, I say what I want in a relationship and I mean it. I feel like the top five ways to win my heart are as follows. Number 5, Food. I am a Taurus a lover of finer things, and I also rarely miss a meal. Some one with good taste in food and who takes me to places that have high quality are sure to win my heart. Number 4, someone who makes ,me laugh. I feel like looks fade over time, conversations can grow dull when you've been with someone for years and years. Although laughter never becomes redundant. Someone who knows the right time to play and joke will always keep me interested. Number 3, someone trustworthy. For me to truly give my heart to someone I need them to be 100% trustworthy. I need to know that they will be there for me always and that I can always count on them. As an extremely jealous person I need to know someone will only be there for me. If I don't have that my anxi

Blog 30 day Challenge Day 4

Write about someone who inspires(d) you. My biggest inspiration that I have ever had in my life, was my Grandma Mary. She was my moms mom, who at the age of 90 passed away late 2015. She was born to a extremely poor family in Lubbock, Texas. My grandmother learned at an early age to get anywhere in life she had to work hard. She was the first generation to learn English in school and how to read and write as well. At the age of 14 she began serving tables which she turned into a life long career. My grandmother served tables until the ripe age of 75. I can't imagine working that hard for that long, while raising 6 children with little to no help. She was most definitely the strongest person I've ever known. She also helped raise all her grand kids and great grand kids. My brother and I where among the last from the grand kids that she baby sat. I remember the feeling of just warmth and safety every time that I was in her house as a child. The smell of fresh beans, chile and

Blog 30 day challenge Day 2

Prompt- Write something someone told you about yourself that you'll never forget. Something I'll never forget that someone told me, was that I am a neurotic mess. Up until that point I didn't believe that anyone else saw my anxiety come through. It was around the time that I first had my oldest daughter Mia. A friend came over and saw what a wreck I was just trying to get through all the colic crying and breastfeeding until my nipples bled (I know fun times). My friend didn't realize my social anxiety still to this day makes me replay that scene in my head over and over. Or how much it made me realize that I had to leave my house and do more than just be a mom. To be honest I believe that it's because out of all of the people that I knew who had babies, they all had easy babies compared to mine. My oldest cried all day and night unless she was attached at the nipple. It was like shackles that didn't let me do much for the first few months of her life. But wa

Introductions and such

Hello world! (insert some other generic introduction) My name is Geneva Johnson, and this blog is about my hot mess of a life. Let's get started, I am a 25 year old mom of two toddlers a fur baby and an over grown child of a husband. I am the all inclusive domestic type, who also hustles as a server on the side. My life is pretty hectic as it is running around, trying to take care of two small humans when I can barley remember to wash my face before bed. I used to be cool kid with aspirations of writing and being someone, now I am the subject of two small dictators, up to my elbows in diapers and asking someone what side would they want with their entree. This blog will be my out let from everyday life. If you chose to follow or read it expect nothing more than random rants, poetry, and possibly some short fiction to help my mind escape. Hope you enjoy!
